PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
​​​​​​​We offer development opportunities for players of all ages and levels in the Auckland Netball community. Our programmes, camps and clinics focus on developing players to support them throughout their netball pathway. Whether players are first-timers wanting to give it a go, or aspiring Silver Ferns we have everything from, Specialist Coaching Clinics to Pre-season Prepare to play programmes and ‘Give it a go’ festival days. All our programmes are specifically designed and run by our Netball Development team.

Year 7 & 8 Player Development Programme​​​​​​

After being hugely successful, we are excited to be running our Year 7 & 8 Development Squad again. This is an initiative aligned with our focus on Player Welfare and supported by the Netball NZ Player Development programmes and Junior Netball Policy.

School Based Team Coaching

​​​​​​​​​​​​​We can support your school or club with development programmes that can be run at schools or your venue of choice. These clinics are tailored to suit the level of the players from beginner through to experienced, along with the teams specific needs.

Representative Programme​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Auckland Netball has Representative teams for Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 and Open. The Representative calendar runs from approximately May – July with some teams attending Nationals at the end of the season.

Running your team trials
​​​​​We have compiled a helpful outline and some key resources to help you run your team trials. It includes trial sheets, examples of selection policies and details of Auckland Netball approved Community Selectors.

No Limits Netball

No limits Netball is for all ages, all abilities. Physical activity boosts confidence, mental strength and all-around physical health. We provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all to get out on the court and give netball a go.
