Position: Volunteer coaches and selectors.

Epsom Girls Grammar School are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic volunteer coaches and trial selectors to join our netball program for the 2026 season.

Our program caters to players of all levels from beginner through to our premier teams who compete in the premier grades at Auckland Netball Centre. With a large and dynamic program of 25 teams, there are plenty of opportunities for personal growth, coaching development, and progression to higher level teams. We are happy to provide development opportunities for those wanting to improve their coaching skills. We are looking for coaches or, experienced selectors to aid in our trial selection process.

What's Involved:

  • Attending and helping in the selection of teams at trials in the beginning of term 1
  • Plan and deliver weekly training sessions (from the end of term 1, through term 2 and 3) (trainings to be held at the Epsom Girls Grammar outside courts)
  • Attend all Saturday games at Auckland Netball Centre- Creating a positive, supportive, and fun environment for all players

Who We're Looking For:

  • Positive, reliable, and committed individuals
  • Previous coaching or playing experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Passion for sport and developing young people

Successful candidates will need to undergo police vetting.

Position: Premier Coach

Mt Roskill Grammar School is seeking enthusiastic and skilled coaches to join our growing sports programme for the 2026 season.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of young athletes through sport, working within a supportive and value-driven school environment.

Essential:

  • A passion for developing young people and creating a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage young athletes.
  • Coaching/management experience and knowledge of sporting code applying for
  • Full, Clean NZ Drivers Licence 


Desirable:

  • Coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 1 or higher certification in your sport) – we can assist you in this area to upskill) or a willingness to get one.
  • Previous experience coaching at a school or club level.
  • Knowledge of current trends within sporting code
  • First Aid and CPR certification.


Working Hours:

  • This role will require two school terms of commitment including a preseason window. Training sessions generally take place before or after school hours.
  • Weekend commitment of travel time game and after match function

Additional Information:

  • You will receive full support from the school’s sports department who will provide all apparel and equipment resources required for the season. 
  • As per Ministry of Education regulations you will be required to undergo a Police Check
  • Full, clean NZ Drivers Licence

Remuneration: 

This is a fixed fee paid position which could cover reimbursement of expenses and incidental costs incurred that are associated with coaching at any training and/or games and all travel costs associated with attending practices and games throughout the season.
