Position: Premier Netball Coach, McAuley High School

Term: Fixed term, starting February 2026

About the role: McAuley High School is seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Netball Coach to lead our Premier Netball Team to success. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance athletes, fostering a strong team culture, and enhancing the college’s reputation for sporting excellence.
You will work closely with the Sports Department to deliver an elite training and competition programme, while also supporting the personal and athletic development of each player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate
    high-quality netball training sessions.
  • Coach and manage the Premier Netball Team during matches, tournaments, and events.
  • Create performance plans focusing on player development, strength, and conditioning.
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team environment.
  • Identify and nurture emerging talent within the college and feeder schools.
  • Uphold the values and standards of McAuley High School both on and off the court.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience coaching at a high-performance or college level.
  • Strong understanding of player development and performance pathways.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and student welfare.

Position: Premier & Premier 2 Netball Coach, Baradene College

About the role: Baradene College is a Catholic girls school based in Remuera, Auckland, that caters for students from years 7-13.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coach for both our Premier and Premier 2 Netball teams in 2026.

Our ideal candidates will have experience coaching at a high level, excellent technical, organisational and interpersonal skills.

The commitment requires attendance at pre-season and in-season trainings and all matches. The Premier coach would also be expected to attend UNISS tournament, and NZSS should the team qualify.

Hours are variable, but it is expected that the commitment will be between 4-6 hours per week.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience coaching at a high level.
  • Excellent technical, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend trials and help select teams (Mid Term 1).
  • Plan and deliver 2 high-quality training sessions per week (from the end of Term 1, through Term 2 and 3).
  • Attend all Saturday games at Auckland Netball Centre during Term 2 and 3.
  • Attend UNISS, Combined points and pre-season games and tournaments.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Nurture and develop players with a wider squad/academy
  • Uphold the values of the school both on and off the court.
  • Proven communication and leaderships skills.
  • Regularly liaise with the Director of Sport/Sports Department.

The successful candidate will need to undergo police vetting.

About the role: Macleans College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to join our netball programme. 

Core responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high quality netball coaching sessions.
  • Attend and contribute to player trials and team selections.
  • Coach your team during Saturday games.
  • Focus of developing player skills
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and respect.

Position: Premier Netball Coach

About the role: Selwyn College is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coach for their Premier Netball team for the 2026 season (Senior A grade).

Their ideal candidates will have experience coaching at secondary school level, excellent technical, organisational and interpersonal skills. Preference would be for a coach to have attained, or to be working towards at least CCA1 or CCA2.

The commitment requires attendance at pre-season and in-season trainings and all competition matches. Two training sessions per week is preferred, with the days and times to be discussed. The coach would also be expected to attend the ANC Combined Points Tournament, and the UNISS Tournament in Hamilton.

Hours are variable, but it is expected that the commitment will be around 5 hours per week. Remuneration, coach development opportunities and apparel are all provided.

Position: Premier Netball Coach

About the role: 

Seeking a suitably qualified premier netball coach for 2026 season. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching at a high level, organisational skills and interpersonal skills. 

The commitment requires pre season and in season training and all games. They will also be expected to travel to UNISS in Hamilton and attend tournaments throughout the season, such as ANC Combined points tournament. 

Hours are variable, but a commitment of around 6 hours is expected.
