School-Based Netball Coaches

Location: Various schools around Central Auckland
Hours: Monday–Friday, between 6:30am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 6:00pm (flexible within these times)

About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches to deliver engaging netball sessions within primary and intermediate schools (Years 1–8). This role involves supporting students of all abilities to develop their netball skills in a fun, inclusive, and structured environment. The role is perfect for university students with flexible schedules. Not suitable for secondary school students due to the times required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging netball coaching sessions for Years 1–8
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow session plans and programme guidelines
  • Manage groups of students safely and effectively
  • Encourage participation, teamwork, and skill development

Skills & Experience:

  • Netball coaching experience is essential
  • Experience working with children in Years 1–8
  • Confident, energetic, and reliable
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate young players

Requirements:

  • Access to a reliable vehicle to travel to and from schools
  • Availability during the hours of 6:30am – 9:00am and/or 3:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Police vetting (willingness to obtain)
