JUNIOR NETBALL FESTIVALS (Year 3-8)

There are a number of fun and festivals on offer at Auckland Netball throughout the year for all age groups. These festivals are open to teams from other netball centres (not only from Auckland Netball). Our festivals are of a high standard offering quality competition and are held at our St Johns or Mt Eden venues.

• Fun and exciting festivals for all Junior teams where everyone is welcome!
• Year 5&6, 7&8 teams must provide their own umpires.  Umpires for Year 5&6 games must have a clear understanding of the 6V6 Rules of play. 
• It is in your interest to do this to guarantee you have an umpire for your games.
  ​​​​​​​However, if you would like to request assistance with umpiring please email info@aucklandnetball.co.nz
• Cash payment required of $75 per umpire. No cash out is available on the day
• ​​​​​​​Year 3&4 teams require their coach to be on the court during the game, guiding the play down court and teaching them the rules of the game.
• All teams must provide bibs and a correctly inflated ball.

• No prizes, finals or placings. All festivals are round a robin format. The focus is on learning, and fun.

• A fun and exciting festival for Year 7&8 Teams open to all Schools and Clubs.  
• This is an opportunity for your team to end your season with a day of netball (also great preparation for those teams heading to AIMS)
• Your team should have at least 4 or 5 short games.
• No placings, finals or prizes. This  festival is a round a robin configuration. The focus is on learning, and fun.
• All teams must provide a correctly inflated ball.
• Teams must provide their own suitable umpires. It is in your interest to do this to guarantee you have an umpire for your games.
• However if  you would like to request assistance with umpiring please indicate on the registration form. We will do our best but cannot guarantee an umpire
• Cash payment required $75 per umpire for the day.
