Speedy Signs Summer League

• 2025 Term 1 - 6 weeks
• 2025 Term 4 - 8 weeks
• All games will be played outdoors
• Teams to provide own ball, bibs, and umpires Y5-Seniors)
• Note: Teams can request assistance with umpiring and hire bibs when registering.
• For individual registrations: numbers permitting we will put you into a team and your registration fee covers the cost of bib hire, ball, and an umpire.​​​​​​​
• Junior Team - $370 (8 weeks)
• Senior Team - $430 (8 weeks)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
• Junior Individual - $65 (8 weeks)
• Senior Individual - $85 (8 weeks)
• Walking Netball Team - $200 (8 weeks)
• Walking Netball Individual - $45 (8 weeks)

REGISTRATIONS

We accept individual and team registrations. There are opportunities across our Junior and Senior grades for all players to participate.

In Term 4, Year 6 players can take part in 7v7 Netball - a great opportunity to experience the Intermediate format and build confidence before moving up next year

We have introduced a Walking Netball Senior Grade. If you want to play netball but running and jumping isn't for you, why not give Walking Netball a go!

Note that the previous 'Mixed' Senior grades are now Open grades with no gender restrictions.

JUNIOR GAME FORMATS

• Y1&2 play 4v4 - 20 minute skill session followed by a game. 2x8 minute halves (self-timed)
• YR 3&4 play 5v5 - skill session followed by a game. 4x8 minute quarters.
• Y5 play 6v6 4x8 minute quarters.
• Y6 play 6v6 in Term 1 . 4x 8 minute quarters. 
• Y6 play 7v7 in Term 4 ONLY. 4x 10 minute quarters. 
• Y7&8 play 7v7. 4x10 minute quarters.
• Note: Year 6 (Term 4), 7&8 boys, a maximum of 3 boys are allowed on the court at any time, with only one in each area of play i.e.GS or GA | WA, C, WD | GD or GK. Boys on court at any one time should not be more than half the team.
• Umpires required for Year 5-8 only. Year 1-4 require an on-court star helper to for each team to guide the children with their court play. 

SENIOR GAME FORMATS (7v7)

• Rolling subs will be in play for Summer Netball
• See the Grade information for updated details on the new Open grade which has replaced our previous Mixed grade
• Walking Netball play 4x 8 minute quarters (self timed)
• ​​​​​​​All other games are 4x 10 minute quarters (centrally timed)

SENIOR GRADES

We are offering the following grades for Seniors.

• Senior Ladies - Open to ladies only of all ages.
• Senior Open - Open to people of all genders, with no restrictions on gender balance within teams. This grade replaces our previous mixed grade.
• Walking Netball - for all adults.
• Ladies only and Open grades (Open to people of all genders, with no restrictions on gender balance within teams).
• Games are 4x 8 minute quarters
• College Girls - High school girls only (Year 9-13)
• College Open - Open to high school (Year 9-13) students of all genders, with no restrictions on gender balance within teams. This grade replaces our previous mixed grade.
